Mujib Rahman

Principal Investor and Project Sponsor - Mujib Rahman  is currently pursuing his Master's in Public Policy at the University of Chicago's Harris School of Public Policy, focusing on finance and policy. He  earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Besides work and studying, Mujib can usually be found attempting to perfect his gym routine and insisting that this will finally be the week he sticks to his meal prep.

Induben Patel, CEO

As Chief Executive Officer,, Induben Patel brings more than two decades of experience in marketing, product development, and business leadership across multiple industries and geographies. She is responsible for setting strategic direction, identifying opportunities, and guiding the firm’s growth with a sharp commercial instinct and a global perspective. Her leadership is defined by the ability to see both the big picture and the practical steps required to execute on it.


Induben’s career spans work across multiple industries and regions worldwide, including her role as a highly successful commercial insurance broker in Dubai, UAE, where she advised sophisticated clients on complex risk, asset protection, and business strategy. Over the course of her career, she has founded businesses, improved underperforming operations, and consistently demonstrated an ability to ideate, adapt, and create value across diverse contexts. Her strength lies in understanding markets, people, and products—and aligning them effectively.


Real estate represents a natural progression of Induben’s professional journey. She has overseen the development of hotels, managed hospitality operations, and continues to operate and manage her family office’s real estate portfolio in India. This hands-on experience across development, operations, and long-term ownership informs her leadership at Antioch, where she applies global experience, entrepreneurial judgment, and disciplined execution to build enduring assets and scalable platforms.

Shefali Chhabria, COO

As Chief Operations Officer, Shefali Chhabria combines disciplined operational leadership with a strong artistic sensibility. She is responsible for translating vision into execution, bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to complex development projects. Her role sits at the center of the organization—coordinating strategy, compliance, design considerations, and day-to-day operations to ensure projects move forward efficiently and deliberately.


Shefali’s professional background includes more than a decade of managing a high-volume legal practice, where she oversaw operations in an environment defined by strict deadlines, regulatory complexity, and zero tolerance for error. In parallel, she is an award-winning jewelry designer, a dual background that gives her a rare ability to balance precision with creativity. This combination informs her approach to real estate development, branding, and design-driven decisions, where both executional rigor and aesthetic coherence are critical.


Beyond her professional credentials, Shefali is deeply engaged in her community and her family. She is an active volunteer in her children’s school and a hands-on parent who brings intentionality, organization, and care to every aspect of their lives. That same sense of responsibility and long-term thinking defines her leadership at Antioch. She serves as the operational backbone of the firm, with the judgment, commitment, and attention to detail that ensure nothing moves forward without purpose or accountability.

Anna Lee, Director of Buyer Financing & Closing Coordination

As Director of Buyer Financing & Closing Coordination, Anna Lee brings more than two decades of experience in the mortgage and residential real estate industry. She is responsible for guiding buyers through financing and closing processes, ensuring transactions move forward smoothly, efficiently, and with confidence. Her role serves as a critical bridge between buyers, lenders, and the development team, helping align financing strategies with project execution.

Anna is a licensed Mortgage Originator who has built her career around delivering reliable, high-level service tailored to each client’s goals. She specializes in assisting first-time homebuyers, homeowners, and investors by simplifying complex loan structures and providing clear, strategic guidance throughout the financing process. Known for her hands-on, client-focused approach, Anna works closely with buyers and industry partners at every stage to ensure clarity, speed, and successful outcomes. She is particularly passionate about developing creative financing solutions, drawing on both her extensive experience and her continued commitment to professional development.

In addition to her lending expertise, Anna brings substantial hands-on experience in residential construction and property management. She has been actively involved in managing residential construction projects, working closely with contractors, project timelines, and development logistics. Her property management experience further strengthens her ability to understand the full lifecycle of residential assets—from development and financing through ownership and long-term operation. This well-rounded background allows her to understand real estate transactions from multiple angles, strengthening her ability to support Antioch’s development goals and buyer experience.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Anna is deeply involved alongside her husband in their children’s lives and sports activities, dedicating her time to supporting their development, teamwork, and personal growth.. 

Navin Sunkara, Director of Investments

Navin Sunkara is a visionary entrepreneur and developer specializing in community-centric living. With a U.S. MBA and a proven track record, he scaled Prince Shoes to multiple locations and established a reputation for excellence in luxury construction as a partner at Fame Realty.Currently, Navin is spearheading two major strategic expansions: (1) Prince Lifespaces: A new venture dedicated to redefining urban living through innovative, high-quality residential design in Visakhapatnam; (2) U.S. Expansion: Navin is the Director of Investments for Antioch Development & Construction LLC in the United States, focused on developing modern townhome communities and bringing his signature focus on elegance and community lifestyle to the American market.

Kamal Chhabria, Project Manager

As Project Manager for Millstone Reserve, Kamal Chhabria brings more than 25 years of hands-on development and construction experience across residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. He is responsible for on-the-ground execution—overseeing construction, coordinating trades, managing schedules and budgets, and ensuring that complex projects are delivered with precision, efficiency, and accountability. His role bridges vision and reality, translating plans into durable, high-quality assets.


Kamal’s entrepreneurial career began in the dry-cleaning industry, where between 1987 and 2000 he owned and operated more than 15 locations at various times, supported by a large centralized cleaning plant. He specialized in complex garments and large-scale drapery and window-treatment cleaning, serving city governments, major corporations, and thousands of households across the Chicago suburbs. He successfully sold this business to venture capitalists affiliated with Kellogg at Northwestern University, who sought to build the first publicly traded dry-cleaning company. During this period, Kamal developed deep operational discipline, workforce management expertise, and an owner’s understanding of margin, scale, and execution.


By 2001, after gaining hands-on experience in residential renovations, Kamal transitioned full-time into construction and real estate development. Since then, he has built tens of thousands of square feet of residential space across Chicagoland, including projects in Lake Forest, Burr Ridge, and the City of Chicago, as well as grocery stores, restaurants, and numerous commercial buildings. He has developed multi-acre sites requiring zoning changes, complex grading, and sophisticated site planning, and has worked extensively with banks, construction lenders, private investors, and capital partners. Notably, Kamal successfully navigated the 2007 housing crisis while carrying more than $20 million in active projects, pivoting strategically into renovations and commercial redevelopment. He later built and continues to operate one of Chicago’s most successful Indian restaurants. His philosophy is simple and proven: pursue multiple disciplines, execute each with excellence, work relentlessly, adapt quickly, and stay positive.

Raymond Lefebvre, Design and Construction Manager

As the Design and Construction Manager, Raymond Lefebvre blends 20+ years of architectural, construction, and development leadership to deliver high-impact projects with clarity, precision, and design excellence. With degrees from the University of Illinois at Chicago and studies at the École d’Architecture de Versailles, he has led award-winning teams and shaped innovative, scalable design solutions. When he’s off the clock, you’ll find him watching Formula 1 or getting big laughs from his wife and kids.

Vishal Chhabria, Contracts Manager

As Contracts Manager, Vishal Chhabria brings more than 20 years of hands-on experience managing contractual and risk-related matters across the real estate development and construction industry. He is responsible for structuring, reviewing, and overseeing contracts across the project lifecycle, ensuring clarity, enforceability, and alignment among developers, contractors, consultants, lenders, and other stakeholders.


His professional experience spans many aspects of residential and commercial construction. As a consultant, he has contributed to projects involving hotels, restaurants, senior housing, land development, industrial facilities, and large-scale IT and operational infrastructure, bringing a disciplined lens to complex, multi-party environments.


Beyond his professional role, Vishal is actively involved in his  children’s athletics and creative pursuits.  He reads and learns alongside them, while also curating shared family experiences.   At Antioch, he applies the same care and attention to detail to contractual matters that he brings to his business associates and his family.

Mark Peterson, Superintendent

As Superintendent, Mark Peterson, brings over 30 years of experience in real estate development, property management, and community leadership. A Coe College graduate with a business degree (1988) and former collegiate baseball player, he founded and led DMI Properties and later Royal Crown Properties from 1990–2019, managing more than 1,500 units across five states and overseeing townhome construction in Delavan, Wisconsin, and Wauconda, Illinois. Mark has served as President of three HOA Boards (1993–2018) and founded the Vernon Hills Youth Athletic Association, running seven sports programs and coordinating over 250 external teams. A lifelong coach in football, baseball, and basketball (1996–2021), he has been a Village Trustee on the Vernon Hills Police Board since 2012 and currently serves as Head Football Coach for undergraduates at Vernon Hills High School. In recognition of his contributions to local athletics, a football field in the Vernon Hills Athletic Complex was named in his honor in 2016.
